Entourage Trucking, formerly known as Trade Wind Express, an asset-based transportation division with two hubs in Shelby, Ohio and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Trade Wind Express was founded by R.S. Hanline & Company in 1987.

Entourage Freight Solutions, founded in 2013, is an industry leader and a true 3PL in navigating refrigerated freight as well as dry freight and the expedited markets with more than 8,000 carriers in our vast network.

Hanline Frozen Foods, founded in 2020 in Romulus, Michigan, is a premium supplier of All-Natural, IQF, and Ready-to-Eat Ingredients to some of the most reputable food service, retail, food manufacturing and wholesale distribution companies in the United States.

Position Summary

The Hanline Group is seeking an experienced Vice President of IT to lead all technology activities across The Hanline Group. This role will be responsible for strategies, implementation and support of all application, information, security and infrastructure activities. The position will be located in Columbus, Ohio with moderate travel to other locations as required, will work closely with the executive team and will report to the Co-CEO’s.

Responsibilities

- Must understand the industry and different businesses to work with the Executive Team to develop and set The Hanline Group’s technology strategies in four areas
o  Applications [Produce, manufacturing and logistic supply chain systems]
o  Information Analytics
o  Security
o  Infrastructure
 
-  Identify what needs are common across all businesses and what needs are specific to individual business units.
- Build a current and future IT vision and strategy for all businesses in the Hanline Group
- Identify the need for software and hardware upgrades, configuration changes, new systems
- Communicate with other executives regarding costs, value and risk-potential of new IT projects, and overall value and opportunities that technology can provide to the company
- Assess, direct and manage the IT team and determine current and future IT staffing needs, outsourcing or other to support the growth of The Hanline Group
- Build key relationships with current executive team as well as individual board members
- Integration of new businesses and locations into the overall Hanline Group portfolio
- Develop and maintain an appropriate technology vendor strategy that ensures we are working with the right people and receiving the appropriate service from those vendors
- Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Represent the IT function with Customers when appropriate
- Direct continuing education programs for the IT team
- Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals
- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by The Hanline Group
- Control budget and report on expenditures
