Compostable Packaging
We believe it is extremely important to do our part to be socially responsible in as many ways possible. After careful research in our quest for the most socially responsible packaging, we recently began purchasing biodegradable trays for our overwrap department. The trays are made from palm fiber and will decompose at 82 degrees Fahrenheit within 12 weeks. The primary ingredients are 96% natural fiber, 2.3% water and 1.7% biodegradable mixture, resulting in trays that are environmentally responsible with the same quality as our other trays. We are continually researching biodegradable items that we can use to improve the environment and reduce the amount of waste in landfills.
